Two ways to reach us, depending on where you're starting from.

Email us directly

No account needed. A person reads every message. Send a message to support@caliberbase.us and it goes straight to our team — we read and answer every one ourselves.

If your question is about your account, write from the email address on the account, or include it, so we can find it. Please do not send permit numbers, scans or pictures of your permit; we do not need them.

Quick answers

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Permits, then Account & Security, then Delete Account. Or on the website. Your account is disabled at once and permanently deleted after fourteen days. We try to email you a link to cancel; if it does not arrive, write to us before the date and we can stop it. After fourteen days deletion is final, and on an end-to-end account you cannot get your permits back, so export first from Backup & Restore on the website. The Privacy Policy explains what is deleted and what we keep.

I forgot my password.

On an end-to-end account (you were shown a recovery code when you signed up), we cannot reset your password, because we do not hold your key. In the app, "Forgot your password?" opens our website; enter your recovery code there to set a new password. On an older account, use "Forgot password" and we will email you a reset link.

I lost my recovery code.

If you still know your password, you can keep using your account — but there is currently no way to generate a new recovery code while signed in, so you have no backup way in until that changes. Do not wait until you are locked out. If you have lost both your password and your recovery code, your permits cannot be recovered by anyone, including us. Nothing about that can be changed by writing to us.

My reminders did not arrive.

Reminders are notifications on your phone, not email. Check that notifications are allowed for the app in iOS Settings, that no Focus mode is hiding them, and that you have opened the app while signed in on this device (it sets reminders when you open it). Carry Plus lets you choose reminder days; defaults are 120, 90, 60, 45, 25, 20, 14, 7, 3 and 1 days before expiration. Scheduled times already passed are skipped; an expired notice is scheduled for the next morning. Do not rely on reminders alone for a renewal deadline.

Something looks wrong in a state's information.

Write to us with the state and, if you have one, a link to the official source. The information is a reference, not legal advice; the state itself and an attorney are the authority.

Which kind of account do I have?

The Permits screen in the app says so.
